“The A-1 Scrabble designer edition. The purpose of this project was to revive an old, but loved game: Scrabble. The idea was to excite people about typography by giving them the ability to choose what font their scrabble set would come in. The set would come in the font of your choice or with an assorted font pack. The scrabble board and interior box are made out of solid walnut, and the exterior box is made from birch. Each of the 6 board pieces is magnetized to fit together perfectly and each piece slides nicely into its respective slot in the box and is secured by interior magnets as well. The interior of the exterior box as well as the bottoms of the 6 board pieces are lined with cork, to protect them while in use.”- - - Lovely Package

great gatsby business cards

Not only is The Great Gatsby my favorite novel but now these are my favorite business cards. What a cool/nerdy concept. I totally geeked out when I saw this. Brought to you by The Heads of State. Anyone want to get me this poster, it's only $90....

maybe i'm getting carried away

but this website, Lovely Package, is killing meeeee. Midnight Moon is a brand of Moonshine; the packaging done by Shane Cranford. Based out of North Carolina, Cranford has a distinct style that carries out throughout all of his projects. It's a sort of blend of old style typography, old style meaning, retro, 50's or 60s with mis-registration with the clients needs/wants. All i know is that i want/need this fa sho. Cranford has done work for the likes of Coca-Cola, Single Brothers, and he designed the football brochure for Wake Forest University.

tis the season

As the holiday extravaganza that is Christmas approaches, one thing and one thing only comes to a gal's mind...SHOOZ. THE shoe of the season, it seems, is the Lita by none other than the genius that is Jeffrey Campbell. I know, the heel and platform looks really intense, but i mean, if you're gonna wear glitter heels, ya might as well wear these bad boys. It's a 5" heel with a 2" platform. I've tried them on and I'm usually really picky when it comes to heels because I'm flatfooted, but I could totally rock these! (especially the glitter ones, did i mention i like glitter?) They are a little expensive but totes worth it, in my opinion. Wear them with socks or tights and you're guaranteed to have a killer holiday.

download NOW

of course all the good music would come out around this time of year!! or really, i would discover it now. but nonetheless, download these tunes and you won't regret it. Girl Talk is back, finally, and Kanye, although his personal life receives much scrutiny, not gonna lie, the guy can still produce and I absolutely love his collaboration with Bon Iver. Tame Impala is a band I listened to over the summer but could never find their album on mediafire until now. The singer's voice really reminds me of Paul McCartney and they've got some sick rhythms to keep you movin. It's no wonder since their influences include The Beatles and Cream. Tennis and Warpaint are Best Coast's new rivals.
"Exquisite Corpse"- Warpaint
"Baltimore- EP"- Tennis
"All Day"- Girl Talk
"My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy"- Kanye West
"Innerspeaker"-Tame Impala
"Forget"-Twin Shadow

holy shit ear cuffs

Litter SF is the shit. Created by two beautiful gals, Mackenzie and Rachael, based out of none other than San Francisco, CA. (yet another reason to move my little booty out there). These girls have got it. Their body jewelry is way above par and I especially love the Silver Buck Ring and vintage ear cuffs.
