“The A-1 Scrabble designer edition. The purpose of this project was to revive an old, but loved game: Scrabble. The idea was to excite people about typography by giving them the ability to choose what font their scrabble set would come in. The set would come in the font of your choice or with an assorted font pack. The scrabble board and interior box are made out of solid walnut, and the exterior box is made from birch. Each of the 6 board pieces is magnetized to fit together perfectly and each piece slides nicely into its respective slot in the box and is secured by interior magnets as well. The interior of the exterior box as well as the bottoms of the 6 board pieces are lined with cork, to protect them while in use.”- - - Lovely Package

masterpiece theater
Will Staehle is a graphic designer based out of Venice, California. He literally just finished a lecture at SCAD. Pretty cool guy, originally from WI, so he's pretty stoked the Packers won. He draws a lot of inspiration from Victorian-style typography, which I find more and more interesting. Worked for the likes of HarperCollins, JibJab, Veer and does a lot of freelance work along with collaborating with his wifey. Caaaute.

cause i'm 21
I hope it doesn't look like i'm some sort of alcoholic with all my posts relating to alcohol packaging and what not. THEY'RE JUST REALLY COOL ALRIGHT. but srsly, this particular poster I found on FrenchPaper---really fantastic paper and a kick ass blog. Currently it's 45 degrees and raining in Savannah, Georgia. Meanwhile, in Florida, it's FUCKING 80 ADN SUNNY. not okay, can i go home now?
