my life be like
this is my friend Joe Ball. he occasionally checks this blog but about 5 minutes ago I decided I would make a series of posts that remind me of Joe. getjoeball.com Joe is currently in Chicago, and I can't wait till he's back in Sav so i can hear all about it, but srsly Joe, I want to hear all about it. I actually really don't like Absinthe, wish I did but I don't know, it's waaay too much licorice flavor for this gal. But I'm all about this package design. Absolutely beautiful; the embossing is exquisite. So I wouldn't mind buying a bottle and having my friends drink it, as long as I get to keep the bottle.

inspiration for an upcoming project
French designer, Phillipe Apeloig, is famous for his typography and matching typographic posters. In Type II, we're working on designing our own alphabets/typefaces. I drew a lot of inspiration from his work and my posters display simply two letterforms, stressing the contrast. Pics up soon, yo.
